An Evening with Kate Rhodes

Kate is a poet, writer and best-selling author of eleven novels including the Isles of Scilly mysteries and her latest, The Stalker.

Her first book Hellbay from the Isles of Scilly mysteries was shortlisted for the Crime Novel of the Year award in 2018, the third Burnt Island was selected as a Mail on Sunday Novel of the Year. Kate was also longlisted for the Dagger in the library award in 2021. The series has also been optioned for television. When not writing crime or poetry Kate supports many young creative writers through FE colleges, prisons and writing festivals.
