Conversation and Craft

We are delighted to welcome you to our free, intergenerational cafe taking place at Christ Church on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month (apart from updated June date), term-times, starting Wednesday 22nd January .

Working in Partnership with Bradford on Avon Dementia Action Alliance, Conversation and Craft brings together people of all ages for good conversations over craft activities, games and refreshments. All activities are inspired by our heritage and themes in the Discover Christ Church! Project. Including our wall painting restoration, our churchyard and the many heritage features that can be found both in and outside the church.

We are delighted to be working alongside St Laurence School this term, and will be joined by each Year 7 Learning Group Class from now until June for every session.

We would love to create further connections with people of all ages from across our community, so please do come along and see for yourselves, We hope to see you there!

Discover Christ Church! Project

Discover Christ Church! is a National Lottery Heritage funded community project that aims to explore, restore and celebrate the rich Victorian heritage of the grade 2* listed building of Christ Church in Bradford on Avon. It is a 32 month project, which in essence is a programme of community-based activities that link with the heritage and restoration of the building. For example, activities inspired by the stained glass windows, or the stone carvings, or even the music and the organ.
