Trio Paradis: A Midsummer Night's Dream Warminster

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert in Warminster on the first Friday afternoon of each month (Feb-June) at 3.00pm: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café where you can meet friends for a chat. This is our last concert at Warminster Athenaeum before we move to the Civic Centre in August (no concert in July)

The music for June's concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the second movement of Trio Hob XV:31 in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Turina and Rachmaninov.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There is a pop-up cafe after this performance serving tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes after the concert, where you can chat with the performers, meet friends and make new ones.
