Sci-Fi Day at the REME Museum

Mark your calendar for the out-of-this-world, fantastical Sci-Fi Day at the REME Museum on Saturday 18 April 2026!

Get ready for an unforgettable day out, with iconic memorabilia from your favourite Sci-Fi franchises, 'real life' creatures roaming the museum's galleries, special celebrity guests, merchandise purchasing opportunities and of course cosplay! Plus, exhibitions from Calne Wargaming Club, Models for Heroes and activities with Swindon Story Shed.

Updates on celebrity guests will be announced on the museum’s social media channels, event webpage and email newsletter. The webpage contains further details about what to expect.

We always encourage visitors to get tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Refreshments will be available to purchase from Crown's Café, which will only be open to visitors with a ticket to the event.

Free parking will be available in the museum’s large car park, visitors are asked to please reserve a parking space if you need one in advance. Blue Badge spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis and you must have reserved a parking space online. If you can, please consider travelling by alternative means.

Dogs are welcome on the museum grounds but are not allowed inside the building, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Tickets: Adult £15, Child £7.50, Family £40, Gold Card Holders £5. No other discounts are available for this event and annual passes do not apply. Tickets will be available to purchase online from Saturday 18 January 2026. Tickets will be available for morning and afternoon and should be booked online in advance.
