Trio Paradis: Planes, Trains & Automobiles at Warminster Civic Centre copy

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday of each month (Aug-Dec) at 3pm at our new venue, Warminster Civic Centre: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from 2.30pm where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.

August’s concert is for all the family and includes music about trains - Little Train of the Caipira, the Orient Express, Chattanooga Choo-Choo…, a helicopter, jet plane, bicycle - and several other modes of transport. Bring a bicycle bell or a shaker if you’d like to join in! Our violinist for this month’s concerts is Sara Stagg.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert. There's no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is appreciated…turn up early for best choice of table.
