Uniform Services Day 2026

After last year’s event was unfortunately cancelled due to severe weather, Trowbridge Town Council is delighted to welcome back Uniform Services Day, taking place in Trowbridge Park on Saturday 12th September, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

This free family event will feature exhibition stalls from Armed and Uniformed Services, entertainment, charity stalls, attractions and activities, food and drink vendors, along with a full programme of performances and displays in the arena and on the stage.

Within our Military and Uniformed Services zones, exhibitions will include equipment, vehicles, memorabilia and demonstrations. Armed Forces exhibitors include the Ministry of Defence, the Royal British Legion, the Sea Cadets and the Trowbridge Army Cadet Force.

Within our Fire & Rescue Zone, there will be Wiltshire Search and Rescue, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and UK Mines Rescue. Wiltshire Police and WAGS Retired Police Dogs will be in our Police Zone, with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, St John Ambulance and Freewheelers Emergency Blood Bikes in our Medical Zone.

The arena will feature displays from Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums, Frome K9 and Active Trowbridge. On the stage, visitors can enjoy performances from Warminster Military Wives, War Time Dancers and Wiltshire Concert Band.

Within our Kids’ Zone, there will be face painting and a climbing wall. Paw Patrol characters and bubble performers will be out and about throughout the day.

Uniform Services Day is a great family day out and a fantastic opportunity for the Armed and Uniformed Services to engage with the community and for the public to show their support.
