The Fulltone Orchestra: Enya

One of Wiltshire’s most celebrated orchestras will stage a live performance of Enya’s Watermark album in Marlborough in May, in what promises to be a symphonic celebration of the bestselling artists’ music. The Fulltone Orchestra, alongside the female voices of Cantiamo, will revive Enya’s iconic album on the 3rd May in the glorious Memorial Hall at Marlborough College.

This is an amazing opportunity for music lovers to experience the timeless beauty of Enya’s work in all its glory, performed by a 35-piece orchestra and breathtaking singers. Known for its ethereal sound, blending Celtic, classical and ambient influences, Enya’s music has remained hugely popular, with Watermark selling over 8 million copies since its release in 1988. And who can forget Orinoco Flow?!

Arranged by noted pianist and composer Dominic Irving originally from Devizes, this stunning piece has been specially written for orchestra and voices, and will transport audiences back to the late 1980s, alongside other hits such as Enigma, Riverdance, Clannad and Karl Jenkins’ Adiemus. Cantiamo Choir features Welsh-born vocalist Amelia Jones, known for her crystal-clear tone and expressive vocal delivery and the night features a first half of music hits, culminating in the incredible music of Enya in the second half. It really will be an awesome night of music!
